Big Kids Little Kids first opened its doors in 2004. We are situated a small walk away from Darlington Town Centre.
We take children from 8 weeks until 12 years and offer the *free 30 hours funding for children aged 9 month+ and the preschool education (3-4 years) funding 15 and 30 hours. We offer the stretched funded offer (all year round) or term time only places.
Throughout the whole setting staff and children work alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS sets the standards for Early Years.
We are open Monday to Friday 7.45am -5.55 pm (excluding bank holidays and Christmas)
*When a child accesses the funded sessions, we have a daily voluntary consumables fee which pays for meals, snacks and a wide range of enhanced resources throughout the day. Please see Government funding sessions for information.
